At Common Ground at Faith, we believe every family deserves easy access to healthy food, quality healthcare, educational opportunities, and a strong network of community support. Today, thousands of families are already receiving help through the vital programs operating on our campus—but we’re just getting started.
To better serve our neighbors and bring all of our partner organizations under one roof, Common Ground at Faith is undergoing a multi-phase renovation and expansion project. These improvements will allow us to offer more services, more efficiently, and in a space designed intentionally for the community’s needs.
Here’s a look at what’s happening now—and what comes next.
Phase I: Laying the Foundation — $600,000
Phase 1 focuses on the most urgent upgrades needed to support families immediately. This includes renovating and expanding the space to be used by Old Bethel & Partners Food Pantry, which has been serving more than 1,600 families every week—its highest level in history.
Construction in Phase 1 includes:
-
Renovating the pantry’s service areas
-
Replacing the building’s roof
-
Preparing classrooms and common spaces for initial partner use
Pre-construction began December 2, and thanks to generous early supporters, $350,000 has already been raised toward this first phase. We are well on our way, but more work remains to fully complete this critical foundation.
Phase II: Expanding Partner Spaces — $1,000,000
With Phase I in motion, Phase II will focus on building dedicated, accessible spaces for the partners who make Common Ground at Faith such a powerful resource.
This next stage will include creating service areas for:
-
Indy Hunger Network
-
Jane Pauley Community Health
-
Indy Urban Acres
-
MSD Warren Township
These renovations will ensure each partner has the space, equipment, and accessibility needed to deliver high-quality programs—from healthcare and farming education to nutrition assistance and youth programming.
Bringing all these services together under one roof removes transportation barriers and creates a one-stop community hub, making it easier for families to get the support they need in a single visit.
Phase III: Growing Community Health Services — $900,000
Phase 3 will build out dedicated spaces for Gennesaret Free Clinic, allowing more families to access free medical, dental, and women’s healthcare. This phase will also create additional room for community programming—health classes, workshops, educational events, and more.
As we continue to meet the growing needs of Warren Township, adding medical and behavioral health capacity is essential to improving long-term health outcomes for families.
This Work Is Only Possible With You
The families we serve face real challenges—nearly half of Warren Township residents are living in poverty or below the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) threshold. Many struggle to access healthy food, reliable transportation, and affordable healthcare. By supporting this build, you are helping us remove barriers and create a welcoming, permanent community hub where every family can thrive.
We invite you to be a part of this transformation.
Whether you’ve volunteered, donated food, or supported us in other ways—thank you. If you’d like to help propel these renovations forward and expand the services available to your neighbors, please consider making a gift today.
